Trying to find my father's old MG B - MGN 108L - Orange

I am trying to locate my father's old MG B registration number MGN 108L which he sold in 1985 it's a convertible first registered in 1971 or 1972 and is/was orange in colour, the vehicle is still taxed although according to Gov.uk the MOT has expired.

I would be extremely grateful if anyone has any information on the whereabouts of this vehicle or has any ideas of how i might locate it as i would like to purchase it.

It is now MOT exempt, so it's not necessarily off the road!
The MG Owners Club have a 'Lost and Found' section on their website and in the monthly magazine, might be worth a post there.
