MGB GT - decent inertia seat belts
Discussion
Afternoon all!
Just wondering if anybody has fitted BEK174 inertia seatbelts on an MGB, and whether they're any good? Or, alternatively have you had any luck with another belt manufacturer?
Replaced the original belts a little over 2 years ago with Securon belts and they are ALREADY locking (which was the main reason I replaced the originals).
The driver side belt started locking and then jammed completely. As they're not handed I was able to replace it with the passenger side one, but that also has a habit of locking from time to time.
All the advice I've read on adjusting the reels seems to suggest this is both fiddly and probably fruitless, so probably easier just to replace. A bit galling to have to spend another £60 on something which should last much longer than 2 years though!

Just dug out the ones I got off eBay, they are advertised for campervan beds (no b post mount) but worked perfectly in my GT, fitted to the original brackets.

So far no issues, been fitted for a year.
