Hi all
I've not posted in this forum before now but was an MGF owner many moons ago. I had a mk1 Platinum Silver/red leather VVC and my wife had a mk2 Solar Red 1.8 which wasn't the most reliable thing!
Tomorrow I pick up a tidy 17-year old VVC that I've bought as a cheap summer run-around. It's in great condition. A few of the usual issues but mechanically and cosmetically sound.
I will post up some pics once I get it home but both me and my wife are looking forward to some top-down motoring.
It has a black hard top which I'm in two minds about. Currently wavering towards selling it. It also has a set of unfitted Mike Satur (still trading I have found via Google) chrome roll hoops which I will definitely sell.
We last owned a convertible in 2004 so I'm not sure who's most excited. Me or my young kids who are thrilled with the idea of a little topless fun car.
