ZR 104....your thoughts?

One of my fellow office dwellers is planning on changing his Daewoo Matiz , for a 2002 MG ZR 105 .

Obviously this is a step up in the world! Is there any specific things he should look for in this model?

(Cars going for around £6000.... Is that cheap?)

edit: (oh so it's a 105....i am rubbish apparently!)
