Mine are the last thing letting the Midget down*, it's a British Racing Green 1500, with rubber bumpers, black interior, lowered to the original (<1275) height with -1" and uprated front springs, and 1275 rears, and the steel taken out of the rubber bumpers.

Thought about keeping it original, and decided that was a bit dull. Swap the black bits for green, swap the grey for black and black to green, green instead of grey and black where it should be? Some other colour? Cheap mini-lite replicas aren't much more than the cost of powdercoating so that's an option too.

If I do go down the minilite route, would 14" wheels be a better option, most sources say 14x5 fit in the square arches, and there are a lot more tyres available in 155/70-14. Probably sacrilegious, but I fancy ruining it with gold wheels and maybe a gold stripe like the jubilee BGT.
  • apart from actually having no wheels or front suspension at the moment.

Rostyle wheels don't have to be black an silver like every other MG rostyle appears to be, a quick google reveals....

Okay blue and white wont suit your midget! But a quick re paint is a cheap and easy option, black and green could work?

Cheers, yea that's what i was thinking. Hadn't seen it done before though. Might drop one round to the powdercoaters and see what they can do. If it looks crap it can always be the spare!
