1969 MGB GT Recommissioning Advice
Discussion
Sadly my Grandfather has recently passed away and i'd like to get his '69 MGB GT which has been sitting in his garage untouched for the past 5(ish) years back on the road to take my Grandmother on a few drives for old times sake (they bought it new from the London motorshow).
Can anybody recommend a good MG specialist in the Kent area? The car is largely in sound condition, but I'd rather have an expert give it the once over and gett it through the MOT.
Sentimental value is obviously very high, hence looking for a recommendation to do the work.
thanks

I did consider just putting in new batteries and doing a basic service (fluids, filters, spark plugs etc), however I'd imagine the tyres are deformed and wheel bearings damaged having been sat in the garage without moving for so long.
I'd prefer to pay a specialist to recommission for peace of mind.

How about Maidstone Sports cars near Headcorn?

I've always found them to be very helpful - even sovleing a problem for me and refusing payment on one occasion!
