chipping the zt

I have a zt 160 v6 , and at the time i bought it i drove both 160 and 190.(trading in the imprezza turbo) Now there wasn't a huge amount of difference between the zt 160/190 but the 190 was notably perkier.Now mine is alot lot better since those test drives as I started to run it on 98 all the time with the biggest difference coming from adding zx1 in the engine and box.Now my question is is it worth getting chipped, has any one done it? is it noticeably quicker does it make a nicer noise does it rev better at the top or simply just give a flattering throttle response if not any quicker outright.how much does the economy change. i have been quoted 300£ so you want some payback. comments or experiences?

I've got a ZT 160+ and thought about chipping it, but then couldn't really see the point. Better to trade up to a 190 and then get that chipped.
