Now this looks like a genuine Cylinder Head Gasket failure.

Some of you may have seen me mention elsewhere that my son's 1982 MG Metro 1300 suddenly started running rough and lacking power. A compression check showed pressure well down on cylinders 3 and 4 with equal low readings. Here's why :~
Although the Iron Cylinder Head cleaned up OK and a check using my trusty straight edge did not show any real deficiencies, for the sake of thirty quid, thought it best to have a light skim after all it is over thirty two years old.
It did the trick with a new Cylinder Head Gasket ~ Cost eight quid posted ... ~ fitted and my son reports it's now good as new ....
