1972 MG MIDGET 1275
It's my friends granddads old car & this picture was taken in 1981-2
It's taxed, moted and insured apparently........and he wants to buy it back.
It's now apparently green as well.
If anyone can get any info of its whereabouts or the owner let me know please!
He wants to buy it back for his dad and surprise him with it!
Thanks!!

My OH was contacted through the MGCC by the first owner of his 1967 BGT. It turned out that the chap didn't live far from us, so one Sunday afternoon we arranged to go and visit.
I don't think he wanted to buy it back, particularly as it's now prepared for hillclimbs & sprints and has lost the chome bumper, wire wheels etc, but he was so thrilled to see it. OH took him for a "spin" around the block an they came back grinning from ear to ear.
He had a ton of old photos and we re-staged a couple of them as he still lived in the same house as he did in '67.

It was a lovely afternoon and great to see an old fellow reunited with his Best Girl, even if only for a couple of hours.

nice story. . . generally the MG folk are a happy to help each other crowd, the old chap in the pic looks delighted, top marksI don't think he wanted to buy it back, particularly as it's now prepared for hillclimbs & sprints and has lost the chome bumper, wire wheels etc, but he was so thrilled to see it.
