Dear All.

For my 21st birthday 3 years ago I purchased a 1970 BGT and love it !!

When I decided to buy the car my dad insisted on having a blast down the country roads near home and reminisced about his and my mums first car as a married couple. I'd heard about it so many times.. They sold it as the bodywork began to let it down and being young and just married it was expensive .. My favourite story is when mum was asleep in the passenger seat and dad raced a Sierra and mum woke up mid race!!
It was also their everyday transport and dad passed his test in it..
How they now regret it as it flew past them on the motorway 7/8 years ago whilst we were in the slow lane in our horsebox!!

My granddad told them to sell it, friends said barn store it and do it up in a few years time
Apologies if I'm not supposed to reveal the number plate but it was PGH 23E .. My dads 54yrs old this May and I'm desperate to track it down.

Looks optimistic by what Nigel has posted above. If you think it might still be local, you could email some of the nearby MG clubs .Or the national MG Owners Club has a lost and found page on their website and in their magazine with people trying to trace previously owned cars or owners:

Good Luck.

even more optimistic as it from the 1st of March rather than the usual 1st of April

you could also try the other lot the MG Car Club or possibly local mixed-marques clubs
