Hi all I'm currently a member of the Hsv forum but have been offered a rover 75 2.0 diesel 54 plate quite cheap but the guy who has it left the passengers window open all night and it got extremely wet on the dashboard seat etc and since then will not start, does this sound like something that could be. Reasonably fixed or avoid I have been told there is a ecu box in the glove box that could be the problem soaking wet, but I really like tis car and it would make an ideal daily. Any help advice would be appreciated

Modern cars can be very tricky with electrical faults. I suspect this may dry out but no guarantees. A decent autoelectrician ought to be able to give an assessment with an initial viewing. I think I would go for it I doubt there is permanent major damage through a window being left open. That does presuppose that the fault does not lie elsewhere. UTY. Good Luck
