Sport Seats in a 3dr

I want some nice sport seats..
I have a 3dr hatch, ZR160
As you know, seats from a sports car/convertible/etc will not be made to have it flung forward to allow passengers in the back usually
I am thinking of Honda S2000 seats as they are a fairly easy fit to the MG rails
So, could the seats slide forward (as if adjusting for leg room) enough to allow someone to get in the back?
I had a, at the time, joking suggestion of getting a nice fancy seat for the drivers side, and keeping the passenger/remaining as standard. So it was like a cockpit for just me.
What would anyone suggest? And/or has anyone put sports or even bucket seats in a 3dr?
