1966 MGB GT - stolen - please help!

Hoping the forum might be able to help with this...
1966 MGB GT
Reg: PRO 879D (notably with front plate on bonnet)
Light blue/ silver, good condition, wire wheels, blue dash, wooden steering wheel, black leather interior.
Stolen from outside my flat in Bethnal Green, East London between Tuesday 8th - Wednesday 9th (pm) October 2013.
Any other advice to better my chances of recovering my car would be gratefully received. Photos to follow.

if you've not already done so I'd suggest you also post in the 'classics and yesterday's Heros' forum on PH as it tends to be a bit quite on here

oliver, very sorry to hear this news. be sure to post at MGCC + MGOC + http://www.twoc.co.uk/ + classic & sportscar et al. also, be sure to get good colour photographs up in all the mags and websites.
as a note, your car will naturally have some marks, elements, that are unique to the car. they'll be very hard to erase unless completely restored. these marks could seem incidental but ARE unique...marks in the engine bay, an additional fuse behind the dashboard, a particular colour to the brake callipers, tool marks to the rear bulkhead under the carpet...they're all important. think about these marks, note them down and forward to the police and your insurance company.
