Looking for my MGF from years ago...
Discussion
I'm trying to look for a car I owned many years ago, a red MGF, R386 ABH.
Why ? (remember, I have owned it, so I know the strengths and many weaknesses of the F) but let's move on and think sentiment is over-ruling logic here.
It was taxed until about a month ago, which means it may be close to scrap or on a forecourt.
When I owned it, I lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne, but that was many years ago and could be anywhere now, but I did track a previous owner a couple of years ago via a post in a local paper - unfortunately they couldn't remember who they had sold it to.
DVLA haven't answered my requests.
Any info or advice on tracking appreciated.

Thanks for the updates. Still seaching, no luck yet.
I only have 1 surviving piccy (didn't have a digital camera in 97), it's on the website I have set up in the cause...

I joined the MGF register and met the chairman at a classic car show, they don't have any record
I then tried an advertising campaign on facebook, but no results.
Never thought it would be this difficult to track down a car !
All help/info appreciated
