Just some pics of my MG Midget historic racer.

I took the pics to put in a "4 sale" add, but started to drive the car and it is just too much fun to sell.
As for racing the car it is ok, but not superfast. I have a highly tuned Porsche 944 Turbo for that....
I raced it in the Norwegian historic championship in 04 and 05 and I ran close to the Minis and Porsche 356. A better driver might have given some of the bigger cars a fight, but not me. It is realy good balanced and easy to drive on the limit.
I bought the car in 1993 or 94 in Scotland for £600, and has ran it ever since. Did a major rebuild/restoration around 2000
Great little car and good fun. Unfortunately I don't use it enough. I have a project Lotus Seven which takes up some of that precious spare time.
On an interesting note, the MG Midget and Lotus Seven was together with the Spitfire, competitors in the marketplace. Having both a Midget and a Seven I can tell you that the Midget feels as a luxuryous car when compared. They are very different.
