I have brought in mgc/a and early b rads and i have fitted them . the welding is on the large size but they work and fit.
I will place another order soon for midget and mgc if you need one v8 I may put one to order.
Chormy, I may like to order one of these for my v8 conversion. Q? What's the quality like? Am in france at the moment, back next Wednesday. May I email you when back? Or, are you at Goodwood on Friday 6th?I will place another order soon for midget and mgc if you need one v8 I may put one to order.
I bought a Chinese ally rad for my GT V8. At the same time a mate bought one from Radtec.
The Chinese welding is poor, looks very DIY. The rad leaked after about 18 months spent £70 having it repaired, then it leaked again. Ended up buying a radtec one.
Don't waste your money on poor quality.

Thank you, Mark. You've answered my gut feel question. Have seen these rads on fleabay since beginning of the year and was hoping they'd be high grade large production ran products :. Good quality. Clearly not. Will end up going the Radtec route. The Chinese welding is poor, looks very DIY. The rad leaked after about 18 months spent £70 having it repaired, then it leaked again.
