cam sensor

Hi all
I have a TF 160 and for some time it has been acting up [slight misfire ] well I changed the plugs and then the coil packs then the two leads all to no avail Then by chance on another site some one said they had the same problem and it was cured by changing the cam sensor as the V V C engine is more relient on the sensor than the 18i and the sensor is on the opposite side of the engine to the 18i
