Does anybody have any race bit n bobs or interesting items , building a 63B FIA race car on a budget .
Looking for a a banjo axle not wires. old adjustable rear lever arms . infact anything that might have a place on the car.
If its been on a MGB 62-65 its of interest.
Maybe a later engine if you need rid of it out of your garage.

I will no doubt have a few things of use in the shed from when we used to race in the bcv8 championship (class D). Will pm you once I have a list, or you can contact me if there are specificthings you are after??

Anything that can help with the upkeep of the car. Cost me a bit more than I hoped to get shell in shape.

H/light's similar to the Jaque Counse GTs. I seem to remember an english company doing a similar conversion, Alexander or someone like them. Nice early car,has it got pressings to the bulkhead panel just at the top of the gearbox tunnel?

Its a sept 63 car, the wings are from a MG dealer Ray Dilly he had the AP 64xx car which he raced in 65-67, this one now resides in the US in a sorry state after being rolled.
The car I have has a breathed on 3 bearing engine and cr box , can find no race history yet but I did find in the glove box a mallory park pit ticket which is for the car in the race paddock so at some time it has been there. Mallory don't have there past on web just yet.

It has a few nice touches like engine bay lights and twin fuse boxes.

Right now she's having the cage fitted seam welded and then to paint. After that I will have to see what parts I can find.
I have a 3 snc box which I'll get sccr gears for , i also have a hybrid banjo axle (tube ends and shafts) this gives me a bit of camber and toe in on the rear. Some 660 springs and neg camber arms , thats it so far.

Ah,thought the wings looked familiar ,friend of mine owned AP years ago.I remember a particularly good scrap at Spa with him just before he sold it. Got yourself a nice project there, your not going to finish it in the mandatory Red & White I hope?
I see you're in Norfolk, used to be the Manager at Holley Enterprise's [Arthur Carters place near Downham] so did an awful lot of ex-works BMC cars in the 20yrs I was there.

These front light units look like they originated from a Jaguar E-type, don't they?
