I wondered if anyone with a MGB roadster who is venturing out to the garage could take a couple of measurements for me. I'm building a Sebring Healey - on a tvr wedge chassis and im using a roadster windscreen and midget windows with the midget quarter lights, it all fits together well, but now I've come to the hood, I've got no datum line to work to, so I need the pivot point of the hood frame. Please find the 2 measurements required on the drawing, X and Y measured at 90 degrees. Help would be greatly appreciated as I live in mid Wales and don't know anyone with a roadster in my area?

OP, contact the MGCC in Abingdon. They have the original drawings and will give you the correct measurements. Also, be careful with measurement at windscreen frame/hood clip points. Another good option would be to talk to a hood manufacturer who produces from original drawings i.e.
