MG ZR works rally cars

After a bit of help...

Does anyone know if there is a list or record of all the works MG ZR rally cars that existed?

My mate has a ZR 160 rally car and the a number of people have told him it's and ex Gwyndaf Evans works car but Google isn't throwing anything up.

The shell has clearly had a huge amount of work put into it, the seam welding and prep looks very impressive which leads me to think they could be correct but maybe some number plate swapping took place since.

I used to work there and built many of the cars, What's the current reg and do you have any pictures? I'll soon be able to confirm

The only other pics I can find at the moment are of it having an accident!

I also think it started life as a pre-facelift car but the lamps/bumpers/tailgate were changed at some point.

Well Being RHD its not a car that was built specifically for Gwyndaf, The only N3 car he used was LHD.
The number plate isnt a works plate either,
Thats not to say its not a works car, there are a number of features that point that it may well have been.
Underbonnet, underneath and plenty of interior shots should give the game away

Hello, I believe I have Gwyndaf Evans's MG ZR. The REG is: BU51 HXT it is LHD.
Anyone interested at all? It is just the shell at present but looking at bringing it back as a rally car and was just wondering if anyone was interested in buying it and then we will build it for them to their specification. Let me know if anyone is interested
