Hi

I hope someone can help us out - we need access to a BGT and F near Leicester so we can make a pattern for a car cover.

Given the weather, a car indoors would be appreciated !

We'll just need to drape fabric over the car, secure it with a few bits of masking tape to glass (and will polish off after) and need about half an hour.

If anyone could oblige we'd appreciate it

Many thanks

Mark

I hate the be the bearer of bad news. But that's not a MGB.

Out of curiosity are you after a MGB Softtop? or BGT?

Read the OP's post! wink

I presume the covers on the market are the same for either the B and the GT.

OP, if you're producing outdoor covers that are actually decent and last, post some pics up when you're done. smile

Thanks for the offers, while I can I'll post up a pic of a couple we already did.

This fabric has been in use for 3 winters now on huge statues and sculptures plus lots of cars, so is tough and lasts very well. If I say more the thread will be closed as being too commercial.

Definitely BGT please, and the (modern) F (or TF) too, please.

If I can get them actually in Leicester all the better, if not Desborough is pretty good, thank you.

most BGTs will be tucked up in garages now, even the garages that are very cold and very damp causing more rust than they stop, nice bit of carpet or matting underneath, full of damp

I'd suggest you also posting on the Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes forum as it's always a bit quiet here but many BGT owners will still be on their afternoon naps now anyway smile

The very, very few exceptions prove the rule

I noticed you didn't deny the afternoon nap smile
