Is it possable to repair a block with a small crack across 1 & 2 bores,It dont look to go down the bores.
Or is it a trip to the scrap yard?

Yes readily possible to repair a block with fault. Take to an experienced block repairer/engineering house like www.southernengines.co.uk/mga-reconditioning.html Based on cost they may advise to simply buy another block.
