Ball-park Value
Discussion
Hi,
I have a 1974 MGB CB roadster that I'll be putting up for sale shortly and wondered if anyone could give me a (very) rough sight unseen valuation.
The car has had quite a lot of work carried out on it including...
1.8 non VVC K series engine conversion
Ported head
Individual throttle bodies
Uprated Piper cams
Gems ecu
Carbon fibre air box and K&N air filter
Caterham bell housing
Ford T9 5 speed gearbox
RV8 front suspension (std rear)
Body has been seam welded
Full respray to MG Rover Nightfire Red metallic
Rostyle alloy wheels
SS exhaust
The interior and hood are a mess and will be replaced.
The engine was built pretty much in accordance with Dave Andrew's web page http://kengine.dvapower.com/ by Tony Bolton.
The car has been off the road for a while and is currently at Summit Motors in Maidenhead.
I realise these things are difficult to price but the bodywork is in good nick with no rust at all and there are some decent pieces of kit in it. I also realise you never get your money back for all the upgrades :-(
Any help very much appreciated!
Regards
Gordon
