I have a 1978 MG Midget 1500 the brake master cylinder is weeping on to the drivers footwell, so i need a new one , i have looked at Sussex MG Parts and there is no picture of the cylinder i have on my car

My b/cylinder has two brake pipes coming out of it, one at the side and one attached to what looks like a union at the back of the cylinder with a seperate filler fitted onto a bracket , and the cylinder is fed by a plastic tube

My question is can you still buy these cylinders , is mine a standard fitment, or do i have fit a modified one

Thanks

Mike

They are almost certain to be available from MG specialist suppliers

Try LeacyMG, they have a reasonable website the last time I looked

They supply many of the other MG people with stock so if they haven't got them I would be very surprised

Both the MG Owners club accessories shop and the MG Bee Hive will have the correct component in stock.
