My left hand side brake seems to be catching the disk and just wondered could this be down to the hand brake cable or caliper.

The handbrake itself has some play in it when off, and the warning light comes on but not sure what the issue might be.

The rear calipers (pulled from the Rover 800) are notorious for sticking. Reconditioned and new ones are pretty cheap though so it ain't all bad news.

If you strip them down and lube then they should be OK, it's a usual MOT fail on the F.
Warning light is probably the switch which wears and is not pushed down far enough by the lever when you have the correct free play. I fix it by drilling a very small hole in the end of the switch and screwing a tiny self tapper in that extends the plastic, can all be done in situ.

Thanks, I must say that car in profile is amazing looking, I thought it was a Mclaren F1.
