Sebring Metal Valence
Discussion
Hoping someone may be able to help. In process of changing from RB to sebring style front and rear valences with standard wings/arches. I'm okay with GRP-type bolted-on front valence, however, where can I buy a steel or aluminium rear valence?? Really want this to be metal and to lead-in valence properly as do not want risk of GRP [filler to bodywork] cracks.
Have searched the following with no luck; Moss, MGOC, B&G, MGB Hive, Frontline, EBay, MG Motorsport, Denis Welch, BMH etc, and Googled 'til eyes boggling.
Do these exist? If so, where?
Thanks, Andrew

Last year at the MG spares show at Stoneleigh

there was a company selling new panels in steel, they definately had front sebring style valences but can't be too sure about the rears. Show is the end of Feb this year.

Check out the pic 15 in the gallery section, there are a lot of curves to consider and the rear light infills if you're converting from RB As a matter of interest (errr or not) I have used an aluminium valence at the front (from MG Motorsport) and a GRP rear valence blended in, no signs of cracking yet after 2 years on the car..
Cheers
Mike
p.s. I have no connection with the company detailed in the link ... only found out they did aluminium rear valences while searching for someone who could put louvres in a bonnet
