B series 1622 engine

I am in the process of building a replacement engine for my 1961 MGA.I was thinking that it my be a good time to do a few upgrades,if there are any.Anyone on here know of any ?or where I could get them from.

Those two sites are a bit more active in the MG world, you're bound to find something there.

A big valve properly modified head and 714 cam would be a good place to start, not sure what carburation the 'A' has but a set of larger SUs might well benefit together with an LCB exhaust manifold.
