Hi

A newbie on this site but not to MG or Rover

I'm Jon and have Rough Luck Racing a totally on site service for all 4 cylinder K-series Rovers

I was told about the site by Russell at MG Solutions who I class as a good mate, partly because I'm the only other guy he recommends and I return the favour

If anyone needs anything I can be found here: www.roughluckracing.com

thanks

Jon

wonder if it's just a coincidence or anything to do with an email I sent to Russell's site last Sunday to suggest, if he wasn't already too busy, that he might;
'considered servicing work on Bs and Spridgets as so many new (and some long term) owners seem to need someone reliable to sort out the necessary servicing work and advise them on what further work would be required

in addition to this finding someone reliable, honest and who knows what they're doing for servicing and other work that is nearby or convenient is also very difficult

I don't know as I surprisingly didn't recieve a reply, I thought he might be away but I'd have also thought he still checks his emails or has 'out of office reply' as it could be, and potentially is, more work for him

I started doing work around March this year after consulting with Russell, but to be honest until lately now the summer rush is over I have been really busy

I cover minor works as well as the normal head gasket works on the newer models, I've also carried out work on midgets replacing inner and outer sills and seam welding the whole lot for extra strength

and if people are willing to pay fuel costs, I cover a massive area and have worked in Scotland, England, Wales and the Netherlands in the last few months

All my work is on site so no having to transport cars left right and centre

However in the case of some of the modification work like alloy polishing to a near mirror finish I do work on a mailing basis where possible

as Russell hasn't replied, and you can share with him if you want, if you want to PM me I'll give you my phone number to give you my (obvious) ideas over the phone

if they were any good and if at anytime you then felt obligied to offer me a pint of one of Oakhams Ales finest (not Grainstore) I would have to accept just to be polite

not tommorrow as I'm already out your way seeking good roads and good ales and tomorrow night I'm certain of good ales nearer home

What's wrong with Grainstore? Ex Ruddles head brewer.

nothing wrong with it, it's just not for me I've also had it a few time at the brewery tap in Oakham

and that's the problem, the confusion Grainstore is in Oakham
but
Oakham Ales is in Peterborough
