No the Roadster was pressed into track day service yesterday and going well, It was damp and the car was great the balance and power made it so much fun, could get 4 wheel drift and any slight tail slide was easy to control. Even a instructor commented on the car.

I'll post some pic's of the car with engine soon, very much hope the car will be ready for 20th Oct track day.

Mike

The engine is very different beast to original,
Forged short skirt pistons
Longer Rods
race cam
Alloy race head
various other strengthening and oil way mods.
AT power throttle bodies
Typhoon ECU

You will have to make a thread showing your C in all its glory once the engine is in. It looks like a very special car that will generate a lot of interest. Any plans on getting a mag feature? Got any photos of the Zetec B being thrown around the track?

Impressive stuff, not a cheap exercise though biggrin Is it still running the original crank?

That is absolutely wonderful. From what I understand, the straight six is a fairly unloved engine due to people preferring the V8. Is it all cast iron?

I would love to hear it, I bet it will sound lovely in the car. What fuel injection set up have you gone for?

I wish we had time but we just managed to get to the track at 2.30, so with all the testing to do we had no time , I will take her on the road at the weekend with a video.
