How's this for daft?

Today I tried on-line insurance quotes for my Jaguar XJ40 and using Lancaster Insurance's On-line system I got to the end of the Jaguar quote, having answered all the questions, only for the website to say "call for a quote". Going via Confused.com and gocompare.com I got very competitive quotes - including from Lancaster!

I then ran the MG through Lancaster's website and, logically enough, I started by clicking the "MG Insurance" link - only to find that one of the first questions I was asked then was "manufacturer?" Now, let me see...............I follow an MG Insurance link on the MGOC's insurance company's website and it needs to ask "manufacturer?". smile

As an aside, the two price comparison sites both threw up several options offering cheaper cover than Lancaster.

Try Footman James, they gave me the most competetive price, fully comp with unlimited mileage for less than Lancaster were quoting TPF&T.
