Very simple on the zr only need a couple of tools.
Slacken wheel nuts of.
Jack car up and suport with axle stands remove wheels
2 13 or 10mm bolts holds the calliper on may need a screwdriver or lever bar to remove calliper and push back piston with a big pair of grips, check sliders are not seized and clean surface area where the pads sit.
2 bolts hold calliper carrier on 17mm i think. Remove calliper.
Dont think theres any screws holding the discs on. The discs will either fall of or be seized on with rust and will need to hammer them off.
Clean discs with brake cleaner or similar products.
Reverse of steps above but put copper grease on the brake pads where they sit on the carrier and a pit on the metal surface of the pads.
I always say to customers in the garage where i work if the pads are below 2mm then will need changeing soon. Discs will normally last 2-3 sets of brake pads if you dont run the pads down to metal and score the discs.
If the discs have a significnt lip on the edge, rusted/corroded or are scored then replace.
Rear brakes are more complicated if they are drums.
What engine is in it.
