After a longish stay at the bodyshop last year and plenty of time hidden at home finishing the little jobs since, finally got the B out on the road yesterday and all was well! Phew.

great thumbup

now plenty of regular driving of it to enjoy it and justify the expense

plus to iron out all these wrinkles being laid up so long may have put in, the more you drive it the quicker it'll get to being even sweeter

enjoy

Don't worry, it will be used! Took it to France last year before the refurb and will become daily 'nice day' transport for the lady of the house. It's got a fairly well breathed on Oselli motor so toodles around at a decent rate but was a bit ragged hence the bodyworks. Bought it on a bit of a whim but so far, very pleased.

I've no connection but Old Forge Garage South of Bath did the work, delighted with what they did and on budget. Kept a photographic record for me as they went too. Moss Bristol supplied the parts and again, no fuss at all.

good to hear

many 'nice days' in late autumn, winter and early spring too, especially for a BGT, so it should get plenty of regular use

but I can understand reluctance when you've got smart pantwork but try not to cosset it - too much

hurt and scorn from all directions, woe is me frown

those photos show almost exactly reverse to mine - well sometime soon

but I hope your wife totally ignores it and drives it like it was new - whilst of course keeping her eyes on the dials and reading the owners Handbook each night

what's that, where can I get a copy? . . .
