AeroMax the most stunning car at the moment?
Discussion
just showed mine to my dad,
got since august, but wasn't sure how he would cope
with another car in my garage: he also fell in love immediatly
same with most of the women
went to a future supersports-owner: he asked me so his wife could have
an idea what it would look like: she went mayhem, positively...

as a daily I want "auto-modus" available
with a turbo, I would track it "smart" (=clean lines) and not "bully" so a PDKbox would suit that driving-style,
also, mine would be LOUD, so I would hear at what RPM the engine is
my dad ordered pretty basic,
and he hates auto-boxes,
therefor PDK would be expesive compared to the rest of the car,
if he ordered fully loaded C4s then a PDKbox would be neccesary for re-sale

1560,
Thanks for the reply. Personally, I've never minded using a manual 'box in traffic (it gives you something to do ). I do understand the appeal of paddles on a track, but why would track use with a manual be "brutal"?
I've had 911s for 15 years and, IMO, it would be very sad if we've gotten (or if we get) to the point that a manual gearbox in a 911 is detrimental to resale value. To me, it's a crying shame that the 458 (and the new McLaren) won't be available with three pedals and a gear lever. I acknowledge how effective a good paddle box is, but to me, for a road car, a true manual is much more satisfying and involving to use than any paddle shift system. It's a shame that the choice seems to be going away.

The orange one (flat Porsche RS style orange) was for sale for some time during last year. It sold (presumably to Europe). As far as I know there aren't any other orange ones (though there is a lamborghini lime green one out there recently sold by SGT in Taplow).
I ahve a vested interest in Orange - though as I said before Orange with a black interior and black wheels would be better on the Max - the brown interior really didn't do it for me when I say it up close at Cheltenham (Morgan Centenary) last year.
