Does anyone have any idea how to go about tracking down an old Morgan. My Dad bought one when he was 17 from the money his dad had left him when he died. He couldn't bring himself to go through with the sale though at the time as his mum was struggling financially etc.

Its his 60th birthday in a couple of years and my sister and I would love to give him that exact car fully restored.

Assuming I can find out teh garage he bought it from (somewhere or Bristol or Portsmouth I think) and then get as much detail as I can from the garage etc, does anyone have any idea how I would go about tracking down the current owner (assuming it still exists)? It would have been a mid 60's model.

I don't think this is going to be exactly easy, so any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

You could try the morgan register here:

www.morganville.org/index.php

or more generally:

www.emog.com
or
www.gomog.com

Someone might know where it is.

There aren't many dealers in the UK either, so you could ring round a few. The factory are very helpful, so might have an idea if you give them a call.

Cheers Beasty, that should provide me with a good starting point.
