Despite being an Aston man at heart (joined the clib at 14, onwed mine since I was 28) my wife and I have both always liked the Morgan shape.

Anyway, I was at Millbrook today and was taken out in a Morgan 4/4 Sport- I believe the same one used in the brochure, driven by someone from Morgan.

The noise, the grip, the fun, the hooigan-ness when he wanted to, the look over the bonnet. I absolutely loved it. Driving slowly or like a hooligan, it was bloody fantastic. Oh, and if it helps, on the high speed bowl we overtook the new Mclaren road car (OK it wasnt going that quick, but its great to say I've overtaken it)

So, is this how it starts? I've already looked at the website, here and talk morgan.com. This could get expensive...

Welcome William to the marque! beer Sounds like you had a super day out and were not only lucky enough to see a McLaren, but overtake one even! smile

I have looked for you over at TM, but don't see a Williamp registered, maybe you've used a different handle? Whatever, we look forward to hearing more about your new found interest in Morgan's and the 4/4 Sport, don't forget to try an Aero too...

That makes two of us then! The Aero 8 is the first Morgan that really caught my eye, and the more I've heard about it the more I realise I will have to have one at some point in my life. Perfect progression from my current Jap roadster I reckon. Also saw an Aero 8 and an Aeromax at a local country show this weekend just gone too, good news is the girlfriend gave it the thumbs up too.

I think navy or black body with silver wings and rumbly side exit exhaust would do the job nicely. If there's anyone around the Reading/Newbury area with an Aero that needs a passenger for a run out somewhere let me know, I'd really love to go for a ride in one rotate

Foggy, I live in Crowthorne. Here is my Aero 8.

By the way, Richard Thorne Classic Cars in Grazely Green have Aero's!

Gorgeous machine Mr. shooter, and side pipes too thumbup If ever you need a navigator... smile

I know Crowthorne fairly well from working there for 6 years. And there's me having lived in Spencers Wood for many a year, never discovered there's a Morgan dealer a couple of miles up the road in Grazely. Far too tempting to invest what really should be my house deposit in one of Malvern's finest instead!

Been to Richard Thorne's dreaming of Morgans myself lately - you have to pay them a visit - it's just such a wonderful place to buy a Morgan from - kind of just how it should be!

I'll be at Richard Thorne's tomorrow having the Aero's 20,000 mile service. My Carver is there and my 52 Flat Rad so will be taking one of them out for a drive while they do the work.

Unfortunately by posting it on here, it would not be considered for entry, all photos must not have been published previously. I agree though a cracking photo.

Interesting to see what the definition of published is. Not that it particularly matters, I'm sure there are plenty of Morgan photos around to fill a calendar.

Not sure what the exact definition is or how they police it but I submitted photos 3 or 4 years ago and was told they would not be considered because I had posted them on Yahoo photo web site.

That is an awesome looking car, but if I had been asked I would have said you are living in a James Bond game created by EA.

I bought my first morgan yesterday.
I have been a fan for a long time but now had an opportunity so jumped at it
Its a 4/4 with 1.6 engine so pretty basic.... but...
love it!
It takes me back to when my dad let me help him work on one - he was a coachbuilder and loved morgans.
Getting mine next week.
I feel some miles clocking up already.
Then, over winter, do some work on it ready for next year.
While at the garage i sat in an Aero.
First time i have seen one in the flesh.
I was dubious about them until that point!
Its an awesome car!
Maybe next week it will be started up....

Its and addiction. Both on the road and off.
Getting to know the car but plenty of thoughts about TLC and upgrades.
