Oh dear, you are right - not surprisingly Wacky you will not be too surprised to hear that I have never tracked mine.
By the way whats this I hear about you selling the Mog - Any particular reason?
Hi Les, how ya doin'??......By the way whats this I hear about you selling the Mog - Any particular reason?
tbh, It wasn't being used very much, I'd done around 1900 miles in two years, it never came out in winter, I just thought it was an awful lot of money lying around not getting used, and I always regretted not paying the extra for the V6 roadster, having been used to my plus 8 many years ago...
Also my eldest son had a very bad motorbike crash in April (not his fault) and nearly lost a leg, (Although thankfully he is going to be OK), but we have spent much of the summer in Wythenshawe General...
So....I sold it and put the money towards a new six berth motorhome which we have already been all round Scotland in.....
However, I hope to return to the fold in the future, hopefully with a nice mint secondhand Aero....
Have you been out in yours much this year?, and what's your son driving these days??
Hope to catch up with you at a show next year
Take care,
Alan

Hi Alan,
Sorry to hear about your son, glad to hear he is on the road to recovery.
Mine is now on the property ladder so has had to curtail his car owning exploits, for now anyway.
Still doing approx 3500 - 4000 miles a year in the Mog and still adding shiny bits to it.
Will be doing lots of shows next year, I am joining Cheshire Classic Car Club so will be on their stand when not at a MSCC event.
Dont leave the Aero too long,
Les.

How much less save is a Morgan? God knows it seems to be just a tinny amount of wood and some aluminum. But what would you guess? 3 times more unsave then a normal standard car? 5 times?
Not that I would turn one down. But it is always nice to know what people are getting into.
Due to the crush characteristics of the Ash wood, Morgans tend to fair quite well compared to expectations when involved in accidents. Not that I would turn one down. But it is always nice to know what people are getting into.
The couple of "off's" this year in the sprint series have been pretty big and the drivers have walked away ok. In a couple of instances the car's didn't but will be re-built to fight another day.
