So its very very quite around the pit shelters this saturday gone. Sun is shining and my sons and my self are heading towards the next pit shelter which is the Morgans. I see this dude who i think i know and i look at him very unsure. Dude looks back and me with a slight unsure look about him. Then smiles and approaches me with his hand outstretched. So i think i do know him but cant place him. Dude says to me "Charles Morgan, how are you" I say "of course you are, i am doing fine thanks, how are you".
As he was walking away one of my sons says that he knew who he was, he drove the Morgan in the Gumball dad....kids.
Strange moment there that i thought that i would share with you

lol.... Great stuff.

Charles is a pretty approachable chap.... the whole factory is the same... a wonderful ownership experienace..

BTW... had an interesting experience with a flabbergasted Ferrari 430 driver off of the lights on the way back... I know his shift lag was emmence... but the expression on his face was priceless. Damned Aero's are quick!!!....and he was trying pretty hard....lol

Always find it funny that when ever anyone knows you drive a ferrari. They always have to tell ya about the time they beat a ferrari, even the Micra owners do it Personally that why i dont show no quarter or Mercy to any one trying it on with me on the road, so there are no stories about my Fezza LOL!!
But yes Charles seemed very friendly.

Glad to see you had such a great time... as for the Ferrari quip... just trying to convert you!! Especially as you've taken time and visited the Morgan area of PH... which can be pretty quiet sometimes.

I'd never attempt to convert you to a Micra....hhmm although I hear the interior is fabulously wipe clean :-) lol

As for the open road.. im sure if we ever met it would be a whole lot of fun.

I like your attitude.

Although in reality English food is not that good in comparison with the others.

English cars however ... well that's a different matter

The Aero has soul, and I love it with a passion. My only other car that I felt similarly about was my Ferrari!

As I said before, nice attitude my friend.

Not only do you allude to being a bigamist in your relationship with your Aero, but you also have a pop at English food.

Bad attitude my friend.

Well that would be a Morgan "BMW" Gear Linkage and that would be have to be Sauerkraut Und Haxe from a German restaurant (in Malvern.... of course). I suspect however you would probably starve first if you were waiting for an Aero to break down.

Bigamy I may be accused of but far more "not tonight dear, I'm not feeling well" from my 'Italian mistress' than my 'British/German mistress' - make no mistake!

But veal escalope with spag Milanese instead of Saurkraut and Harry Ramsdens any day!

BTW - I have the Ramsden blood as well.
