And we thought it was going to be chocolate and beige!
Looks fabulous! Blue is definately the colour for the aero

Many thanks Funky, Leo and Rich, much appreciated. Leo, I've just seen a 4/4 for sale in SGT in the same colours, but reversed, i.e. blue body, lighter blue wings. Does not work as well IMHO.

The view down the bonnet with the louvres and the different headlights is very evocative of my first Plus 8, though it was a completely different colour. Anyway, I'll be off-line until tomorrow as I am going down to Devon for the night, just to put some miles on it. The A303 beckons... driving

See you in the other place on my return.

keep your eyes peeled - got my first 3 points on the 303 just outside exeter last year - sneaky cops in a layby with a laser gun! Still - hurrah for the aero's brakes - it was almost standing up on the front wheels so they only got me for 84 in a 60

Thanks for the heads-up Rich, I think that I was done near Cheltenham last week on the way to Malvern, but no NIP so far....fingers-crossed.

Looks gorgeous in the metal but Still think chocolate and beige would have been the right colour but he just wouldn't listen

Great to talk to you Stu, you car also looked the business. The photo line-up looks great, and we had a super day; even if the Aero's only ran demo laps. cry

We planning to do another GT3 race in Europe and the Dubai one at the end of the season, so hope to meet up with you at one again. If not, we'll keep in touch on PH.

Cheers
Brian

P.S. Loved your car in Chameleon Green, as I said my last Aero was in Reflex Green. If you look at Funky's profile you will see an Aero in Reflex Green and a Sagaris in Chameleon Green. What a line-up...

Sorry Funky I stand corrected, as you sort of said too many cars; too little time. nuts

Dubai is the last race of the GT3 class, so far we have Boshly and myself going, but everyone is welcome. We will post details once we firm up something a little nearer the time here, and in the other place.

Hi Bri it looks great. I do like that colour contrast. Have you run it in yet or is it now tucked up in the dry.

Thanks Brian, sorry did not make it to your place. I was too busy doing 1000 miles that weekend so that I could drop it off at the works, for its first service. Mission accomplished. driving

I am back in the UK and pick it up again on the 26th May, so will drop in before we head off for our trip to Austria. wavey

Thanks also Wacky, much appreciate your post.

P.S. I thought that I would see you at Stoneleigh, very disappointing only two Ultima's there on the Monday.
P.P.S. When do you start on the new-build of an LS7 engined one? biglaugh

Hi Brian Look forward to seeing the new Beast. You were there on the wrong day sir. On Sunday I think we managed 25 Ultima's 15 of them in a convoy from Warick on M40. Very tempted on LS7 cost of engine managable but sadly would need to change just about everthing else. One slightly foxed Canam for sale??? Could you squeeze an LS7 into the Aero 8, supercharhed to 1,000bhp.

Hi Brian,

Have been away in the East, but back in blighty in a weeks time. Will bring it round so that you can see it.

Sorry to have missed you at Stoneleigh, the works have had an LS2 in a Series I Aero chassis, so don't see why this wouldn't fit. However, they have decided to stick with BMW engines for their V8's.

Anyway, will catch up when we meet...

Brian
