Morgan GT3 quicker than Ford GT - GT3 Testing results

Several cars were at Adria, for the third official GT3 test session. Participants included a Dodge Viper, two S-Berg Racing Lamborghini Gallardo cars and two new cars: the Matech Racing Ford GT and the AutoGT Racing Morgan Aero V8.
Christophe Bouchut, the official FIA GT3 test driver, was able to test the Ford GT and the Morgan Aero V8 for the first time. Bouchut set the fastest time with the Morgan, with a lap in 1’17.951, whereas he did a time of 1’17.997 with the Ford GT, on old tyres.
For Christophe Bouchut, the Ford GT is well built: “This car is really efficient. First of all, it looks fantastic. Then inside, everything is well done, it is a real racing car where everything is thought out for the race. The car is fast, we will test it again in Dijon, but the package is interesting”.
“The Morgan Aero is also very special. It looks likes a car from the 30’s, but when you drive it, this car is really efficient, with a great BMW engine.”
