Anyone tried anything other than the factory ft tyres?
Was wondering if there are any good recommendations. Always found bridgestones on the Masser a good choice if a little soft they were pretty progressive.
Any other options?
Don't need new ones just yet, but thinking of replacing this set before going on 2 weeks around france in the summer...

My car runs on pirelli p-zero rossos. In Anglesey my instructor said that they are very good tyres for the car. The only other ones he would recommend are pirelli p-zero neros. I may try these next as my rears are knackered after Bruntingthorpe and Anglesey. I'd definitely try a track day with it though - just choose one with loads of run off - Bedford is meant to be great.

run mine at VMAX so had an opportunity to get it sideways 
Need to go to a day with an instructor though - I don't like pushing the car too hard on my own as I don't really know where the limits are - and when I have found them I've noticed it's very unforgiving - certainly doesn't like to slide - just grip grip grip grip grip - backwards....
Would explain why so many have been written off... Perhaps there are some changes to the setup that could make it more progressive...
Will go for rossos then - they sound like the best choice.

Took a while to get to from yorkshire too, but great drive down over the pennines, and the tunnels on the A55 at colwyn bay are brilliant - I had cars braking and swerving at the sound me as I past!! 
I definitely agree about the lively back end, but I prefer the handling to the masa's. Funniest review I saw for that car said when you put your foot on the gas you'll go either backwards or sideways, but then on very rare occasions you'll go forward very very quickly. Still at least that had traction control...

- it's bit more difficult to get it sideways and hold it there - don't think thats the car's fault though Gassing Station | Morgan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
