Out of Hbernation!

Having owned my 4/4 for the last 21 years, the car which was once my daily driver now only gets used during the summer months.
I recovered the car from the corner of the garage and took it for an MOT, on the way I forgot about the attention it attracts and when I arrived at the test station, the mechanics stopped working and a crowd gathered while it was examined.
Having totally rebuilt the car, which is as good underneath as it is on top, with every nut& bolt in stainless, this was no great suprise
What a joy to get it back on the road, I have access to faster machinery...but getting the Mog back on the road is always a joy, hopefully this year I will put a few miles under her wheels.
Has anyone else recently got their car out of the garage??

So what is this hibernation thing? My 4/4 has been out all winter up here in Scotland, I just try to avoid days with too much salt on the roads. Had a glorious drive down to Dave Rutherford's Morgan workshop in the hills near Kirkby Lonsdale in March. He is one of the best with traditional Mogs and been working on them for years. He and his wife have a great B&B on the site too.

After driving the car back 70 miles from Goodwood on saturday in torrential rain without a roof and side windows....it is back in the garage...I have had more fun.
I did use the car as a daily driver for 6 years,,,,,but if you drive and track them properly they end up needing a full rebuild.....having treated the car to a full bare chassis rebuild, I much prefer to use it for runs out when the weather is better.
