Can anyone tell me if they have anny experience of the Morgan Dealer Melvyn Rutter?
I emailed him yesterday with some Morgan questions and was pleasently suprised that he called me within 2 minutes of sending the email.
I was also quite suprised when he offered to join us for the tour of the Morgan factory later this month. I do know he is based near Stanstead so I thought that is quite a nice thing to do.
Would people recommend him?

I haven't used him for servicing, but have had the same instant response when emailing or speaking on the phone for technical assistance/parts. In my opinion, this says alot for the support you'll get from him. He even produces his own colour magazine and parts catalogue. Compared to my local dealer, he is in a different league. I have also had dealings with Allon White and Brands Hatch. I would recommend these dealers too.
I have used Melyvn for parts and other Morgan services for many years, he is a very enthusiastuc decent guy and has an excellent team around him.
If there is a rare unobtainable part he will get it for you, since the regime at the factory has changed MR purchased most of the spare parts for older Mogs.
He also holds a decent summer party at his premises
