If you haven't found out yet, as well as not understanding the word discount, most of the dealers haven't come across the word "Finance" either & would expect you to pay 100% up front in cash.
Despite having a £35k deposit to put down, I was looked at as if I had just walked in a trail of dog poo when asking what the finance options were....
Also when it comes to servicing its one of those cars where you are expected to drop it off & in a week or so time if you are lucky, they may have got round to doing a service. Don't expect to have it done while you wait.

It wasn't that long ago when Morgan had a couple of adverts/posters up at the factory, possibly on behalf of a dealer, with the finance terms (including PCPs?) clearly shown for each car.Despite having a £35k deposit to put down, I was looked at as if I had just walked in a trail of dog poo when asking what the finance options were....

AFAIR the finance was provided by Close Brothers, who at the time appeared to be underwriting anything with four wheels.

You asked for a discount on the phone and were surprised when they said no?
I'm only 30 minutes away from the factory, I could have gone down on my knees in front of the sales guy and beggedbut I thought I'd save the planet by phoning them first, got it wrong again, damn it!

I was asked for full payment up front a week before I picked up my special order plus four from John Gills back in 2006.
Having left a £2000 deposit upon ordering, It left a bit of a sour taste, they closed down a year or two after I took delivery.
Their business model as a manufacturer leaves a lot to be desired, when they can't answer the phone politelyHaving left a £2000 deposit upon ordering, It left a bit of a sour taste, they closed down a year or two after I took delivery.
It's no surprise the dealers are closing

I’m very pleased with my Roadster. It’s a 110, not the new one, obviously, but modernity is, to me, not really the point. But the dealer did ask for all the money well before delivery, and I gave it to them. I organised my own finance. Morgan made a proper hash of the V5, then the car on delivery had minor issues which both they and Morgan should have sorted out. So I’m not that impressed with either of them, though I love the car. What Morgan ARE very good at is organising events for owners. Aston Martin, Mercedes and even Porsche could learn a lot from them on that. For the others it feels like as soon as you are out of the door they forget about you until the day they decide you should trade up. I just bought a plus four, it is my fourth Morgan but the first I have chosen the options myself as the previous ones were ordered by the dealers.
They can provide finance but I didn't need it.
All of the staff I have met on my four visits to the factory are extremely courteous.
The service department are very efficient.
Sales are helpful and whilst they do not offer discounts they can help.
The cars are hand built and will from time to time have little niggles but I accept that.
Lovely car.
