Talk Morgan

About ten days ago I filled in the form to join "Talk Morgan" - the e-mail I received assured me that I'd receive a message "shortly" confirming all was in order and approving my account.

Almost two weeks later I'm still waiting ! I tried to log in a couple of minutes ago and the message states "awaiting approval" ( or words to that effect )

Does anyone have any ideas how long it usually takes to be given access to be able to join the forum ?

Have you submitted yourself to the initiation yet?

Sometimes it can take a while; it's all done on a completely voluntary basis so if Simon who runs it is away delays can happen.

I've had the same issue. Tried to sign up a couple of times in the past 3 weeks, failed, but am not getting a response to emails to Simon. Hopefully he (or another admin) can pick this up!

I too registered over three weeks ago. Having now had my new (to me) Morgan for last couple of weeks I'm keen to learn more, so very disappointed.

Thanks NDA very much appreciated. I can understand that it is hard work to run a forum like that, and it seems like a lot of responsibility falls on just one persons shoulders, so I hope it isn't too much

I suspect it's more that Morgan owners are so well behaved that little moderating is needed... however it is now getting attention I think.

Well my account never got approved and today when I tried to log in it just said that no account exists with that username. So I have had to try and register again.

I know Morgans are famed for the long waiting lists, but extending it to the forum seems to be a stage too far 😄

i am in the same situation. 2nd time i tried creating a profile and still not validated. Frustrating.

The moderators set and run the site as a sideline so be patient. It will be worth persevering.
Also check your spam/junk mail folders.
