From March 22nd, I am a very very proud owner of a 2010 Aero Supersports.
Some of you may have read some suff in talkmorgan but since a very close friend of mine is/was a big fan of Pistonheads, I wanted to join here as well.
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?h=0...

I do not have proper pics of mine SS yet, since the weather did not help until now, but at least I can share the built photobook it was given to me together with the car.

Yes... well it's full of cracks and rattles compared to the 997 but I was expecting them.
For now I just have a few.

The trunk area with one of the two roofs

The cushion for Bea (my wife) ahahahaha!

And a couple of pics in the garage area (with and w/o the roofs)

Yes, I definitey am happy smile!
After a boring grey Z4 and a nice but common black 911 I was really looking for something different.
And this is different! In terms of shape, color and driving style.
And the violett is even more violett.
The original owner decided to go for the Bugati violett that in metal, under the sun, really looks violett and not bluish like in pics!

And, to be fair, you can get it for a very reasonable price (considering the idea).
Less than 200gbp. I'd have been happy to pay that amount for all the cars I owned.

That is cheap!
Shame Aston don't offer it I'd have liked that on my S roadster.

Thanks! smile
And... Be patient... We are working on it.
I just need to find a solution for the leather. The company who is producing it is selling the leather only in hides. And an hide is 4.50 sq mtrs frown

Are side exit exhausts available on the SS?

Yes they are but both the dealer and a few enthusiast suggested me not to have them.
The dealer because he told me it's too noisy/loud and if you use the car in the traffic with roof and windows down then your clothes will smell of "exhaust".
And a couple of forum people explained me that since the exhaust is right in line with your ear, you will mainly hear the left one and after a while it's unpleasant since it seems that only 1/2 engine is running.
For sure they look gorgeous. No discussion about that. And they even increase a little bit the ground clearance between the two axis that it's not bad at all for speed bumps and ramps.
