Is that something someone has made up? I can't see the car on their website.

I know that the new plus 8 is essentially an aero chassis, with a trad style body. I saw some pics a few weeks ago of the car, but without the driver it was difficult to gauge the size of it.

It's on the Talk Morgan and Morgan Car News websites which are pretty accurate with their articles. Also the chap driving it is Matt Humphries who designed the Aeromax, Aero Supersports and the 3 Wheeler.

Is it using the 4.4 BMW V8 then or something a little different.

Saw this at the factory 3 weeks ago. Similar in size to trad just a lot wider. Aero style chassis 4.8 BMW engine from Aero. The car we saw had Aero style seats and wheels but not sure whether these would be part of final design.

They won't be making many as the BMW V8 engine is out of producion. It uses the 4.8 version BTW.

I drove the prototype Plus 8 recently and there is a brief write-up and photos here: http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/69...

Anyone who pays that kind of money for that car must have more money than sense (imho).

£55/60k tops.

Having said that, I expect they will sell every one, so good luck to them.

The driver in the picture is their chief designer I believe?

Sorry just noticed no-one had answered your question smile

It uses the newer 4.8 BMW V8 as used in the Aeromax, Aero Supersports and last of the line Series 4 Aero 8's.

Will be dynamite in a trad body I would suggest thumbup

With a big danger of this driving leading to cop leading to judge

Nearly 400bhp in, I'm guessing, 1000kg cloud9

Why would anyone put Ripspeed wheels and silly low profile tyres on a Morgan?
