Hi all, Got a question that maybe someone's familiar with. When I open the boot lid, there's a gushing sound, like there's water trapped inside the boot lid itself, but no water comes out. I'm a bit concerned about the GRP delaminating if there is was in there, so I might make a hole at the front edge. Anyone had similar problems?

No, the engine has been off for a while. but I know what you mean! I wondered for a while whether it was a rear window washer reservoir, then I remembered there isn't a rear washer :-)

I have a 96 Chimp that has the big chrome looking hinges on the boot lid. There has been some delamination of the GRP around the hinge area and it was filling the lid with water in heavy rain. I left the car garaged fir a couple of days with the boot lid open to drain it out. Once dry, I sealed the edge of the boot lid (hinge area) with clear silicone sealant. No problems no - but it was annoying!
