i know that this subject must have been done to death "but" i have a 95 4.0hc with 29000 on the clock and it currently has a full dealer service history.i am not a millionaire and since i intend to keep the car for a number of years yet; i feel inclined towards using an independent.i live in the tvr wastelands of lincoln and have seen good reports about offoot in cambridge.can anyone put my mind at ease or suggest anyone nearer home?? (and do they do mot's??) thanks for any input..met

There's always joospeed in Chesterfield. Not too far from Lincoln - 43 miles according to multimap.

I have heard good reports about both Joospeed and Offord. Given your location Joospeed should be the easier to get to though. However, living in Cambridge I have used Offord for all my servicing needs for the past 4 years on my Griff 500 and cannot fault them. They also do MoTs as well. Most of the local TVRCC members with cars more than a couple of years old seem to use Offord and Simon the governer is also a keen club member with a Chimaera 500.
