Front Wheel Bearings Gone

Hi evryone,

My lovely Yellow Meanie is causing me problems again.

I've got a 5 Litre Chimaera and the front right wheel bearing decided to go on self destruct yesterday. I know the original manufacturer was Ford, but i don't know which model. I think it would be cheaper to buy from Ford than from TVR.Are they Granada Scorpio bearings?

Call the guys from www.tvrgear.co.uk and they'll post some out to you. Yes, they're Ford parts but wheel bearings are not expensive anyway so you're better off paying say £5 more to be sure of getting the right parts IMO.

The rear bearings are Sierra Cosworth I think. Front's may be similar, but you never know with TVR. You're local motor factor should be able to help, just take the old ones off to take to the shop for a comparison.
This assumes you have other available transport of course.
