I've seen a couple of posts on this before but never with any conclusive answers....

I'm sick of taking wheels and seat off my bike to take it anywhere (not to mention the muddy boot and not being able to put the roof down).

Has anyone successfully fitted a bike rack capable of carrying one or two mountain bikes to a Chim?

Wedge automotive are pretty good at fabricating strange things for TVRs and may be able to fashion some kind of 'towbar' from which you can hang the bike.

Note that it obviously wouldn't be a proper towbar, as TVR aren't keen for you to tow anything... imagine a TVR towing a caravan.... at 140mph...

I've always wondered about the cost of a spare roof... so that (in my case) a ski rack can be bolted to the top of it.

Since I doubt that there are many rooves kicking about on the secondhand scene, does anyone know what the hard middle section of the roof weighs in at?

Once that's solved, it's just the snowchain issue left to deal with.

I'll get me ski-jacket & moon boots...

Towbar does not necessarily mean caravan... it might mean dinghy trailer (cool), or small trailer for taking stuff to the tip (less cool, but often necessary.)
